‘Cocoon Mood’ collective exhibition in Brussels 24 Jan – 28 Feb

This exhibition is a celebration of the harmony between forms, textures and ideas, and an exploration of the boundaries between the functional and the aesthetic. An invitation to let yourself be enveloped physically and spiritually.

COCOON MOOD offers a rich dialogue between disciplines: a selection of digital artists and projections will enrich the experience.

On display some of my video works:
Rencontres – “Rencontres” explores the poetic dance of two planes, symbolizing a love story of meeting, passion, and heartbreak as one leaves for another.
Nothing happens – Nothing happens. Yet, all sorts of things happen. Apparently, nothing striking, small events that have taken place since the beginning of time. We are the difference, in the heat of the sun, in contact with the coolness of the water, the grains of the sand, the voice of the waves. There are no events. There is life. What matters is noticing it, being part of it all. In Nothing happens what is missing is the thought, the mental construct. We exist in beauty. We should always remember this.
Après-midi – A summer afternoon in a north-western European park. Appreciating the creative potential of the city and enjoying a peaceful sensation that brings us back to our younger selves.
Working Day – While we were decaying they were thriving. A personal interpretation of the Covid spring 2020 lockdown.
Visione Parziale – Our vision is inherently selective—we constantly choose what to focus on and what to overlook. While much of this filtering happens unconsciously, guided by our brain, there are moments when it becomes a deliberate act. This short video offers a visual exploration of that process.
Midding – The tranquil pleasure of being near a gathering but not quite in it.
Hovering on the perimeter of a campfire, talking quietly outside a party, safe in the knowledge that everyone is together and everyone is okay,  with all the thrill of being there without the burden of having to be. (adapted from thedictionaryofobscuresorrows.com)
Inner Voyager – Inner Voyager is a video featuring animated overlays on ESO’s stunning space photography. The animations transform celestial imagery into a metaphorical journey, capturing the introspective search for self—its challenges, revelations, and discoveries.
